Ollie was killed while in practice for the British Superbike championships at Mallory Park. he
sustained head and neck injuries.

Last year was in such shock that someone as wonderful as you had ben taken from us. Now a year on I am living through the past 4 months with my darling Steve joining you after being knocked off his Honda.
Ollie I know you will help him settle in - so you both take care and know how much we all love you x

Well Ol, it's been a year, and what a year it's been ... but you know that!
I don't think you'll ever understand the hole that you left behind when you died ... a million hearts were broken that Friday afternoon, and although time passes they'll never be mended.
As they say ... remembering you is easy, we do it every day - it's the heartache of losing you that will never go away.
I can't begin to describe the grief that's been felt this past twelve months. Your family have done you so very, very proud. It's the mere mortals like me who find it difficult to hold it together! Have you seen what Charlotte's latest venture is??? I'm afraid I can't match that, the best I can do is to send her cash!
Dan lost his best friend Tom at Oulton this April. He came to your funeral with Dan and Stuart and me. I don't think Tom had ever met you, but he felt the pain and the grief just the same. You'd have been so proud of Dan. He had his first race in Europe the day after Tom was killed and he put it on the podium! So, look him up for us will you? He's a good lad ... you'll like him!
Anyway, that's enough sad talk! I hope your getting up to mischief you ginger-gigolo. And you take care of everyone ... we'll be down to see you in October hopefully, unless the ridiculous plan I'm concocting at the moment actually pays off, in which case we'll have to rearrange!
Bloody hell Ollie ... why'd you have to go and do that you stupid git? Mind, fate's a funny old bugger isn't it? Creeps up on you when you least expect it!
